Find what you need here before reaching out to support. ## Getting started ### Do you offer a free trial? Yes. New accounts can try FlameProxies with a free 200 MB trial, with no credit card required. [Register](https://flameproxies.com/register) and start from the dashboard. *** ### Which proxy types do you offer? Three: [residential](/proxies/residential), [premium residential](/proxies/premium-residential), and [static residential (ISP)](/proxies/static-residential). Datacenter proxies are coming soon. See [Choosing the right proxy type](/getting-started/choosing-proxy-type). *** ### What's the difference between residential and premium residential? Residential proxies draw from a pool of 84M+ IPs at \$0.50/GB, with no site restrictions. Premium residential proxies draw from a curated pool of 15M+ clean IPs at \$3/GB, for targets with strict anti-bot protection. Premium proxies are blocked on payment providers and government websites. Both use the same gateway and parameters — switch with `package-standard` or `package-premium`. *** ### Which protocols do you support? HTTP and HTTPS on port `8989`, and SOCKS5 on port `1080`, at `proxy.flameproxies.com`. They work with any tool that supports standard proxies, including Scrapy, Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright, and anti-detect browsers. *** ### Do you support UDP? Yes. Add `mode-udp` to your username and connect over SOCKS5 on port `1080`. Your client must support SOCKS5 UDP. [Static residential proxies](/proxies/static-residential) also support UDP. *** ## Pricing and billing ### How much does it cost? | Product | Price | | - | - | | Residential | \$0.50/GB for 1–999 GB, \$0.45/GB from 1,000 GB | | Premium residential | \$3/GB | | Static residential (ISP) | ISP Monthly \$0.99/month per IP (United States only, RCN ASN), or \$0.70/day, \$1.50/week, \$3.00/month | *** ### Does my bandwidth expire? No. FlameProxies is pay-as-you-go, with no monthly cycles. Unused bandwidth stays on your package until you use it. *** ### What payment methods do you accept? Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and more) and cards through Stripe (credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay). *** ### Do you require KYC? No KYC is required for standard purchases. You can sign up and start using proxies with just an email address. *** ### Does topping up create a new package? No. Top-ups are added to your main package, so your credentials stay the same. Invoices are generated automatically for every purchase and can be downloaded from the billing section of the dashboard. *** ### What's your refund policy? See the [refund policy](https://flameproxies.com/terms#refund-policy) in our terms of service. *** ## Targeting and sessions ### What's the difference between rotating and sticky sessions? Without a `session` parameter, every request gets a new IP. With `session--time-`, every request with that session ID keeps the same IP for up to that many minutes. See [Core concepts](/getting-started/core-concepts#sessions). *** ### How do I target a specific country or city? Residential proxies cover 187 countries and more than 8,000 cities. See [Locations](/proxies/locations). *** ### What are pools? The residential network is split into sub-pools with different performance characteristics. By default you use the whole network; add `pool-1` or `pool-2` to restrict a request to one sub-pool. See [Pools](/proxies/residential#pools). *** ## Limits ### Are there limits on threads or requests? No. Residential and premium residential proxies have no limits on throughput, requests per second or per minute, threads, or concurrent connections. *** ### Are any sites or ports blocked? Residential proxies have no site or port restrictions on our side. Premium residential proxies are blocked on payment providers and government websites. *** ### What's your success rate? Residential and premium residential proxies both deliver a 99.9% success rate. *** ## Account ### Can I split my bandwidth between teams or customers? Yes, with [sub-users](/dashboard/sub-users). Each sub-user has its own credentials and a bandwidth allocation taken from your main package. *** ### Can I automate orders and proxy generation? Yes. The [Customer API](/api/overview) lets you create packages, add or remove bandwidth, read usage, and generate proxy lines for residential and premium residential packages. *** ### Do you have a referral program? Yes. Earn 15% on a referred user's first order, 10% on further orders in the same year, and 5% after that. The commission for the Standard Residential plan is fixed at 5%. FlameProxies can be used for legitimate purposes such as web scraping public data, SEO monitoring, market research, ad verification, social media management, and price monitoring.
