Proxy Generator

The proxy generator in the dashboard builds ready-to-use proxy lines for your residential and premium residential packages. You pick what you want — location, session type, pool, modes, protocol, and format — and the dashboard writes the line you paste into your code or tool. A generated line is exactly the same as one you write by hand. The generator just saves you from memorizing the username format. The Customer API offers the same options when you need to generate lines programmatically.

Building a proxy line

The generator’s options map directly to username parameters.

1. Location — where the IP should be

Setting	What it does	Parameter
Country	Limit to one country. Leave it empty to use any country.	`country-<cc>`
City	Narrow further to one city in that country.	`city-<city>`

The more specific your location, the smaller the eligible pool. Start with a country and add a city only when you need it. See Locations for every country and city.

2. Session — rotating or sticky

Setting	What it does	Parameter
Rotating	No session. Every request gets a new IP.	(none)
Sticky	Every request with the same session ID reuses the same IP.	`session-<id>-time-<minutes>`
Session time	How many minutes a sticky session holds its IP.	`time-<minutes>`

3. Pool and modes — how the IP is picked

Setting	What it does	Parameter
Pool	Use the whole network, or restrict to sub-pool 1 or 2.	`pool-1`, `pool-2`
Fast mode	Route through the peer with the lowest latency available. Doesn’t cost extra bandwidth.	`mode-fast`
UDP	Enable UDP traffic, carried over SOCKS5.	`mode-udp`

4. Protocol and output — how the line is written

Setting	What it does
Protocol	HTTP connects on port `8989`. SOCKS5 connects on port `1080`.
Format	The layout of each line: `standard`, `secondary`, `http_url`, or `socks5_url`.
Quantity	How many lines to generate at once — for example, one per worker or thread.

The four formats are:

Format	Layout
`standard`	`host:port:username:password`
`secondary`	`username:password@host:port`
`http_url`	`http://username:password@host:port`
`socks5_url`	`socks5://username:password@host:port`

When you select SOCKS5 with URL output, use the socks5_url layout.

Copy and test

When the settings produce the line you want, copy it and test it with one request:

A successful response is a JSON body with the exit IP and its location. If you targeted a country, the country should match.

Worked examples

Rotating US residential, no session:

proxy.flameproxies.com:8989:<USERNAME>-package-standard-country-us:<PASSWORD>

Sticky session in New York, same IP for 30 minutes:

proxy.flameproxies.com:8989:<USERNAME>-package-standard-country-us-city-newyorkcity-session-a1b2-time-30:<PASSWORD>

Premium residential in the UK, same IP for 20 minutes:

proxy.flameproxies.com:8989:<USERNAME>-package-premium-country-gb-session-c3d4-time-20:<PASSWORD>

SOCKS5 URL with fast mode in Germany:

socks5://<USERNAME>-package-standard-country-de-mode-fast:<PASSWORD>@proxy.flameproxies.com:1080
